Man United to lose another target as Juventus hold talks

Kalidou Koulibaly

The Italian Serie A champions Juventus are determined to snap up the signature of Man United star target and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Kalidou Koulibaly has been on the radar of the Red Devils for many months and it was revealed by Napoli chief that former manager Jose Mourinho made a frantic effort to land the star defender but was turned down.

With manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer taking over as the Red Devils boss, the interest in Kalidou Koulibaly has not stopped as they are still planning to land him this summer transfer window.

However, they face a major challenge as Juventus have been holding talks with the star defender with the hope that a deal could go down before the end of the summer transfer window.

Man United failed to secure qualification to the Champions League and that seems to be working against them in their search for new players at the club.

A number of players are expected to leave the Old Trafford in this summer transfer window which makes the coming of new faces necessary.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already received the backing of the board to drive the club to success and he would be given enough funds to engage.
