Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has been praised for his recent performances for the Reds in recent weeks.

Guinean international Naby Keita was lauded by Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane in a recent interview monitored by Goal as he revealed that the best is yet to come from the former RB Leipzig star in the wake of his recent performances for Liverpool.

Senegalese international Mane also revealed that the goals scored by Naby Keita is a confidence booster.

Naby Keita has scored two goals in as many games for Liverpool in all competitions.

He struggled at the start of his Liverpool career following his £50m move to the club from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig last summer but the Guinean has been able to recover from the bad start.

Naby Keita scored his first goal for his new club last week Friday when he helped the Reds secure a 3-1 comeback league win against Southampton to take them to the Premier League summit.

He scored the equaliser for Liverpool after the home side took the lead through Shane Long.

Mohamed Salah and substitute Jordan Henderson scored in the second half to give the Reds a valuable win.

Keita made it two goals in two games with the opening goal in the 2-0 win over FC Porto in their Champions League last 16 first leg clash on Tuesday night.
