North London outfit Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has stated that his side will hope to remain third in the Premier League table until the end of the season but that will only be achievable with hard work.

This is after he scored his 13th goal of the season to help the Gunners team with a convincing 2-0 win over Newcastle on Monday night after an opener by Wales international Aaron Ramsey.

The North London outfit have now overtaken their London rivals Tottenham in the third position with few more games left until the end of the season.

Alexandre Lacazette has stated that his team prepared for the game and had watched a number of videos as they needed to take the opportunity to move ahead in the league table.

He noted that it was a big game for the side and it was known to all of the players but he is now relieved that he has been able to help the team with a win in the game.

Alexandre Lacazette, therefore, admitted that he would love to score more goals to be able to help the team so as to remain in third position to be able to secure qualification to the Champions League next season.
